The story behind 3-Hour Yoga.

My first yoga retreat to Maya Tulum in 2009 consisted of two 3-Hour Yoga classes each day for 6 days.  By the end of the trip, the yogis felt so much stronger and better about their practice.  I came home and thought I must find a way to offer this revitalizing practice regularly.  Sponsored by NYHRC, my first and second 3-hour events received an overwhelming response.  Subsequently, and in an effort to offer this practice more consistently, I decided to get my own space and offer it on a monthly basis.  BodiBalance provided a beautiful space with a wonderful energy, and here we are.  Keep checking back for future collaborations with NYHRC.

The pricing was the next challenge.  Has anyone noticed how expensive yoga classes are?  It has become something of a luxury for those who can afford to go to studios to take classes.  My wish is to make the class accessible for the general public by keeping the price as low as possible.

I offer a high quality, no nonsense practice that is healthy and well-informed, yet fun and challenging.  3 hours of yoga sounds pretty intense.  But my practice is open and the student can take all the necessary breaks.  Whether the student has a beginner's practice or an advanced one, my teaching style is well-rounded and will inspire you to achieve greater things.  I offer plenty for the less advanced students to keep them building on their practice while the more advanced students are given lots of options and variations to keep the practice interesting.
